You're wondering what your life could be like "if...". You know you're not satisfied with how things are going or how you're feeling, but you're unsure where to start. You might feel overwhelmed, isolated, or lost. You've made decisions you don't understand and don't like who you've become. You're not alone; it doesn't have to be this way.

Our three basic social needs center around connection, work, and love. If you’re struggling with one or more of these, you might feel a sense of emptiness. As is true for all of us, what you believe about yourself defines who you are and impacts how you present yourself to the world. If the belief you hold about yourself is distorted, you might feel anxious, depressed, lonely, confused, or overall, not good enough. This inevitably creates challenges when trying to connect with others, experience vocational satisfaction, and have meaningful loving relationships.

There's no single way to sort out the “stuff” of our lives, and it’s okay to ask for help. I provide a safe space for men, women, and couples to heal from their past, process transitions, seek reconciliation, and find hope. I help clients with anxiety, depression, spirituality, relationship issues, sexual concerns, and issues specific to women. Together, we will process your story and the pain you’re experiencing, evaluate any distorted beliefs you might be carrying, and work to uncover your true self so you can live intentionally.

You have within you right now, everything you need to deal with whatever the world can throw at you.
— Morgan Harper Nichols

I love what I do. I was drawn to counseling from a young age after encountering it as the client and experiencing the healing that comes from being known and valued by another human being. I spent my college summers counseling high school and other college students through challenges they were facing. I instantly loved hearing their stories and watching them grow over the years. When I realized the vastness of the impact these conversations had on their lives, as well as the impression they left on me, I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life and began my pursuit of professional counseling. It is truly a privilege to give others the space to process the most difficult things. So often they go undiscussed, and so frequently these are the very things that are the most impactful on our wellbeing.

I obtained my Bachelor’s in Health Studies and Administration at Arkansas State University. After college, I spent a year at the Kanakuk Institute, a post-graduate program designed to develop leadership skills and train its students in Biblical literacy and theology. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I am developing specialties in anxiety, depression, spiritual issues and trauma, couples counseling, marital enrichment, sexuality, and sexual issues.

I am a Christian counselor; however, I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, and faiths. I will create an accepting, unbiased, and non-judgmental atmosphere that allows you to be yourself, process your story, and grow into a healthier version of yourself, incorporating whatever faith beliefs you hold.
